Injuries are mounting at the wrong time for Manchester City.
A title clash with Liverpool is next up after the international break with Tottenham and a tricky trip to Aston Villa looming soon afterwards.
One man they cannot do without for those games is Erling Haaland, who picked up a foot injury playing for Norway last week.
The striker joins Ederson, Nathan Ake, Matheus Nunes and Sergio Gomez in racing back for the Liverpool clash whereas John Stones, Mateo Kovacic and Kevin De Bruyne all look set to miss out.
Here is your latest update of Man City injuries and return dates...
Erling Haaland
City hearts were in mouths when Haaland suffered a foot injury during Norway's friendly with the Faroe Islands last week.
Fortunately for Pep Guardiola, Norway boss Stale Solbakken has assured fans it was a "small knock" that might not have prevented the striker playing Sunday's draw with Scotland had it not been a dead-rubber.
“It’s the movement in his foot that is the problem but it’s not a serious injury," said Solbakken.
"Had it been a final, I don’t know [if he would have still risked playing]. All parties agree it is probably a little too soon but it is not a career-threatening injury."
Haaland is therefore a doubt to face Liverpool, with an update from Guardiola and City expected later in the week.
Potential return date: November 25, vs Liverpool
Ederson
A foot injury picked up in City's draw with Chelsea before the international break led to Ederson pulling out of Brazil duty.
An update by Brazil team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar outlined the situation as fans now await news from the club.
He said: "[Ederson] suffered a foot injury in the final minutes and was able to continue the match, but the pain became intense. The foot became swollen, difficult to walk."
Potential return date: Unknown
John Stones
Having already missed a chunk of the season with a hip injury, a fresh muscle issue will keep Stones out for the coming weeks.
Guardiola described the defender's absence as lasting "a while" after he limped off in the Champions League win over Young Boys.
Potential return date: Unknown
Nathan Ake
An unspecified injury has kept Ake out of Netherlands action this month after he sat out City's draw at Chelsea.
No timeframe or further explanation has been put on the defender's absence at this point.
Potential return date: Unknown
Matheus Nunes
Portugal were forced to release Nunes from their national team camp after tests last week, which deemed him "unfit" to play in their final Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Reports suggest he was suffering from a muscle injury ahead of joining up.
Potential return date: November 25, vs Liverpool
Mateo Kovacic
Kovacic is struggling with a recurring leg muscle injury which, according to reports, will lead to another two or three weeks on the sidelines.
City lost the Croatian for a short period in September before this latest emergence of the same issue - currently keeping him out of international action.
Potential return date: December 2023
Kevin De Bruyne
City are determined to take it slow with reintroducing De Bruyne after he suffered his latest hamstring injury on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.
The Belgian played through the pain barrier for the final two months of last campaign with the same problem before surgery over the summer. He has since gone under the knife again and is yet to return to training, while City refuse to put a timetable on his comeback.
Potential return date: Early 2024
Sergio Gomez
Spanish defender Gomez has not made a squad this month after being spotted on crutches after the win over Bournemouth.
It has been reported that he will return soon having overcome an ankle injury.
