Steven Gerrard names Liverpool player Jamie Carragher feared in training
Steven Gerrard has named Luis Suarez as the best player he has ever played with at Liverpool, claiming the prolific striker had the power to 'embarrass' his own team-mates.
Suarez spent three-and-a-half years at Anfield, arriving in January 2011 and departing in the summer of 2014 to sign for Barcelona. Throughout his time with the Reds, the Uruguay international proved his unique ability on countless occasions and was virtually unplayable at his peak during the 2013/14 season.
Considered by many as one of the club's greatest-ever strikers, the 35-year-old went to enjoy great success at Barcelona and is still delivering in the final third with current club Atletico Madrid. During his maiden campaign with Diego Simeone's side last season, Suarez's 21 league goals fired the Spanish side to the top-flight title.
