Bolton Wanderers manager Ian Evatt has suggested that goalkeeper James Trafford will operate as Manchester City's second-choice goalkeeper next season.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper impressed for Bolton in the second half of last season and has performed well so far this term after re-joining on loan. Trafford has kept 16 clean sheets in all competitions for Evatt's men this term. Since joining Bolton on loan last campaign, the goalkeeper has made 54 appearances in total.
Trafford signed a long-term deal with the Blues last summer, and despite the youngster having not yet featured for City's first-team, the Bolton boss believes that he will become Ederson's back-up next season.
