Manchester City have been found guilty of all but one of the 115 charges against them relating to breaches of Premier League financial regulations, according to reports.
A decision on potential sanctions has not yet been made, with City expected to appeal the decision.
According to The Athletic, an independent commission has ruled City to be guilty on 114 of the 115 charges they faced.
Punishment could range from a fine to a significant points deduction. Expulsion from the league is also an option on the extreme end of the spectrum.
City have always denied the allegations, ever since they were charged by the Premier League in February 2023.
Standard Sport has approached both City and the Premier League for comment.
A spokesperson for City told The Athletic: “The Premier League process remains ongoing, with significant elements to be completed, and subject to strict confidentiality.
"As such Manchester City FC’s position remains consistent with the club’s statement of February 2023.
“The club has diligently respected due process for eight years on the basis the Premier League board and executive would behave as an independent, impartial and fair minded regulator, free from partisan influence.”
