Fans give Abramovich opinion

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich released a statement on Wednesday evening revealing he will sell the club. Having bought the Blues back in 2003, Abramovich has helped Chelsea become one of the most feared sides in Europe.

With news that a new owner could soon be about to take over, City fans took to social media to have their say on the breaking news, and it's clear they're not too worried about what the future could hold for the London club.

Ukraine solidarity message

City meet Manchester United this weekend in the Manchester derby. Before Sunday's fixture, there will be a "moment of reflection and solidarity" at the Etihad and all other stadiums hosting Premier League clashes.

“A show of solidarity for Ukraine will be visible at all Premier League matches from Saturday 5 to Monday 7 March. This follows the numerous ways in which clubs have already demonstrated their support," the Premier League said in a statement on Wednesday.
