Manchester City fans have been sharing their reactions to the best and worst of Fernandinho in what was an incredible game at the Etihad Stadium.
Fernandinho came on for the injured John Stones in the first half to fill in at right-back with Joao Cancelo and Kyle Walker both unavailable. At the beginning of the second half the Brazilian went from hero to zero in a matter of moments.
To begin with, Fernandinho did incredibly to win the ball back on the right-hand side before playing an incredible one-two and delivering a beautiful cross for Phil Foden to head home. However, just a couple of minutes later, his unfamiliarity with the right-back role cost him as Vinicius Junior made light work of skipping past him before slotting home.
