It has been yet another stellar season for Manchester City after they retained their Premier League crown.
City had looked down and out when Matty Cash and Philippe Coutinho gave Aston Villa a two-goal advantage in their crucial final-day clash. However, a stunning turnaround which saw Ilkay Gundogan score twice either side of a Rodri equaliser meant the Blues secured the three points they needed to pip Liverpool to the title.
Despite suffering disappointment in the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup, Pep Guardiola's side were able to celebrate their domestic triumph through the streets of Manchester on Monday. With the Blues falling to just three defeats in the league, there was no shortage of contenders to choose from for Player of the Year.

Here at MEN Sport, we managed to narrow down the contenders for the coveted award to just five players. Fans were given the option to choose either Riyad Mahrez, Joao Cancelo, Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri or Bernardo Silva for who they believed was most deserving of the prize.
Out of those five options, a whopping 41.2 per cent of the vote went to City's Belgian playmaker De Bruyne. The 30-year-old had another standout year for Guardiola's side.
De Bruyne scored 19 goals and grabbed 14 assists as the Blues won the Premier League for the fourth time under their current manager. Mahrez came second with 19.2 per cent of the vote while Rodri came a close third with 18.2 per cent.
