Manchester City have reportedly 'fallen in love' with AC Milan striker Rafael Leao.
The 22-year-old Portuguese forward has made a good impression in Serie A this season having scored 11 goals in 32 appearances for the Italian giants. Calciomercato reports that City are one of just several 'top-tier clubs' that are keeping track on the rising star.
PSG and Barcelona are the other frontrunners to sign Leao but Milan are reportedly ready to put up a fight. The news outlet claims that the San Siro club see Leao as a crucial player moving forwards and that negotiations over his new contract are 'travelling quickly'.

Italian football critic and Sempre Milan reporter Maxi Angelo has called the San Siro star ‘absolutely unplayable‘ for his form this season. This comes as Manchester City were deemed to be close to signing Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
MEN Sport understands talk of a deal being done for Haaland is slightly premature. But, Dortmund official Matthias Sammer said that figures for the move gave him 'whiplash'.
Elsewhere, City are reportedly keeping tabs on AS Monaco wonderkid Mamadou Coulibaly. The 17-year-old has yet to make a senior appearance for the French side but this has not stopped the big clubs looking at him.
