Man City FA Cup semi-final vs Sheffield United finally given date and kick-off time

Manchester City's April schedule has finally been confirmed following the news that their FA Cup semi-final with Sheffield United will take place on Saturday, April 22.

City were paired with Sheffield United 10 days ago, but only now have learned when the FA Cup semi-final will take place. Manchester United, who take on Brighton in the other semi-final, can only play on the Sunday that weekend as they are involved in the Europa League on the previous Thursday, making the delay all the more frustrating.

The last-four clash with the Blades will kick off at 4.45pm and be broadcast live on ITV.

City will take on Sheffield United three days after travelling to Bayern Munich in the Champions League for their quarter-final second-leg and four days before a crucial Premier League title showdown with Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.

The fixture confirmation completes City's April schedule, which begins with them welcoming Liverpool to the Etihad and includes the two Bayern Munich ties and also the Arsenal clash.

Man City fixtures in April:

April 1 - Man City vs Liverpool

April 8 - Southampton vs Man City

April 11 - Man City vs Bayern Munich (Champions League)

April 15 - Man City vs Leicester

April 19 - Bayern Munich vs Man City (Champions League)

April 22 - Man City vs Sheffield United (FA Cup, Wembley)

April 26 - Man City vs Arsenal

April 20 - Fulham vs Man City
