Julian Alvarez might already have realised he will not be given any special treatment as he prepares to sign for Manchester City during the January transfer window.
As the clock ticks towards Monday's 11pm deadline, it should only be a matter of time before the River Plate starlet is unveiled by the Premier League champions.
Should that deal go ahead, it's expected that Alvarez will be loaned back to River for the rest of this season.
