Pep Guardiola insists nothing has changed in the Premier League title race despite Liverpool dropping points against Tottenham on Saturday
Guardiola has been clear that City's objective is to take maximum points from all their remaining games in the Premier League, knowing that such a run would guarantee the title. After Liverpool's draw against Spurs, though, if City beat Newcastle they would open up a three-point lead at the top of the table with three games remaining and a minimum of equal goal difference.
That would allow City to have some leeway in those three games, but Guardiola was clear that Liverpool's result won't change his message to his players.
