Carlos Vicens, the man who made Manchester City the best side in the league from dead-ball situations, will leave the club in the summer to become the new head coach of Dutch side Heracles Almelo.
Vicens stepped up this season and was given responsibility for the team's performance from attacking and defending free-kicks and corners. The former Under-18s coach took on the role to replace the outgoing Nicolas Jover, who joined back up with City to revolutionise their ability at Arsenal.
This season has seen City thrive from set-pieces. What used to be a real weakness for them - Guardiola used to joke that his best strategy was praying when they conceded a free-kick in a dangerous area - has become another of their strengths.

City have scored 18 goals from dead-ball situations this season - two more than any other team - including the first two goals in a tricky clash at Elland Road at the weekend. They have also only conceded one goal. The net score of +17 is better than any team has managed in Premier League history.
Those figures are also breaking new ground during Guardiola's time at City. Their goals scored from those situations are now responsible for more of their total goals (21 per cent) and fewer of their total conceded goals (5%) than in any other season.
Heracles Alemlo announced the appointment of Vicens for next season on Friday, with no decision made over whether Guardiola will replace him at City.
