Manchester City have reportedly spoken with the representatives of Inter Milan centre-back Alessandro Bastoni.
The 23-year-old is not out of contract until 2024, but City have been impressed by his displays this season, according to reports. However, the Premier League champions will have to battle Bayern Munich for his signature.
The German giants have also been in touch with Bastoni’s agent, Tullio Tinti, so say FcInterNews. Inter have indicated that the defender is available for a transfer but will not accept anything less than £50m.

Negotiations have not yet been conducted but Inter have shown enough willingness to speak, that City are mulling over a move for the youngster. Meanwhile, Fotomac reports that Galatasaray have entered talks with City duo Kayky and Yangel Herrera.
Eighteen-year-old Kayky made his senior debut in the FA Cup against Swindon in January before making his Premier League bow against Norwich a month later. Herrera has been at the club since 2017 but has failed to break into the first team.
He is currently enjoying a loan spell at Espanyol - his fourth temporary switch away of his City career. Galatasaray head coach Domenec Torrent has a good relationship with Pep Guardiola having been his assistant at Barcelona and Bayern.
He is said to be hoping to use this as leverage in a possible double swoop.
