As the ink on Raheem Sterling's Chelsea contract continues to dry, Manchester City have been labelled as "a possible destination" for Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry, according to BILD.
After 337 appearances for City, Sterling Manchester United on social media as he confirmed his departure ahead of his £50m move to Chelsea this summer. Reports in Germany seem to suggest that City fans might not have to wait too long to find out his replacement.
It has been public knowledge for a while now that contract talks between Bayern and Gnabry have not been smooth-sailing, and with the player apparently demanding an eye-watering £250,000 per-week, City are claimed to be waiting in the wings should contract talks break down.

Another advantage for City is that Gnabry is apparently unwilling to join Chelsea or Tottenham due to his time at Arsenal, and BILD report that this has left the Etihad as a potential home for the German winger if Bayern fail to meet his demands.
Elsewhere, 90min Football report that Manchester City are interested in "Rolls Royce" defender Pau Torres from Villarreal.
Torres will be well-known to City fans after he helped his side defeat Manchester United in the 2020/21 Europa League final, and now the rumours are building that he might be on his way to the Etihad this summer.
Finally, City have still not given up hope on signing Kalidou Koulibaly despite the fact his transfer to Chelsea is drawing nearer, according to Italian journalist Luca Bendoni who reports that talks are "ongoing with Man City". Despite reports that Koulibaly's agent is in contact with Chelsea, the City hierarchy are reportedly considering an 11th hour swoop.
