Man charged over random sex assault of woman in park

A man accused of bundling up, choking and sexually assaulting a young woman who was walking through a city park at night will remain in custody.

The 23-year-old alleged victim was walking from Flemington Station through Airey Park in Homebush, western Sydney, about 11.15pm on Friday, September 18.
