A second man has been charged murdering a “good natured and loyal” teenager stabbed to death in a north London street.

Abdel Derdour, 22, had been arrested on Boxing Day in connection with the death of 15-year-old Adam Henry following a two-week manhunt and public appeal.

Derdour is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, the Metropolitan Police said

Tsidi Winion, 20, of Handyside Street in Camden, is already accused of murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He faces trial in August next year

Adam collapsed injured on Westbourne Road, Islington at around 1pm on December 9. He later died in hospital.

In a statement shared after Adam’s death, his family described the teenager as “good natured and loyal”.

They said he had many interests and was “always there with a smile and cheeky sense of humour”, adding: “He was a loving son, brother, nephew, grandson, friend and we will never recover from the loss and not having him in our lives.”

Four other people were arrested alongside Dedour at an address in north west London on December 26.

Daniel Williams, 39, of Shoot-Up Hill, Camden, has been remanded in custody charged with fraud, theft, dangerous driving and taking without owner’s consent, while two men and a woman between aged between 18 and 47 have been bailed pending further enquiries. The woman was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

Detective Chief Inspector Allam Bhangoo, who is leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts remain with Adam’s loved ones throughout this unimaginably difficult time.

“There is no place for senseless acts of violence on our streets – and those responsible for such crimes should be brought to justice.

“My dedicated team have worked tirelessly over the last few weeks.”

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to dial 101, quoting incident number 3568/09DEC, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
