A man has been charged with murder after a 40-year-old man was stabbed to death in a house in west London.
Sufian Choudry, 38, is due to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday over the death of Krzysztof Baran, Metropolitan Police said.
The victim was found unresponsive at a multi-occupancy house on Nine Acres Close in Hayes at 11am on Saturday.
Officers, with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, attended but Mr Baran was pronounced dead at the scene.
He died of a stab wound, a post-mortem examination carried out on Sunday determined.
Mr Baran’s family has been informed and are being supported by officers.
Detective Chief Inspector Sal Minhas, who is leading the investigation, said on Monday: “My thoughts are with the family of the man who has died and we will do all we can to support them as our investigation progresses.
“Based on our initial enquiries, we believe this was an isolated incident and there is nothing to suggest there being any wider risk to the community.”
