A 40-year-old man who allegedly killed another man known to him in a stabbing attack in the NSW Southern Tablelands will face court charged with murder.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing at Bungonia, east of Goulburn, on Saturday after emergency services attended a property on welfare concerns.
On arrival, police found a man, 38, with stab wounds who was declared dead at the scene.
The 40-year-old alleged perpetrator was arrested at the property and taken to Goulburn Police Station.
Police said they would allege in court the two men were known to each other and had been involved in an altercation at the property before the younger man was stabbed.
The older man was charged with domestic violence murder on Sunday and refused bail.
He will appear in Goulburn Local Court on Monday.
