A man has been charged in connection with a fatal assault that took place in Newbridge last month.
Gardai arrested a man yesterday evening in connection with the investigation. He was detained at a Garda station in Co Kildare and has since been charged.
He will appear before Naas District Court this afternoon at 4pm. Gardai launched the investigation after a man was discovered with serious injuries outside a property in Piercetown, Co Kildare in March.
