A man has been charged and another man has been arrested following a 'serious assault' in Stirlingshire.
Emergency services raced to a house on Bute Street, Falkirk at around 10.30pm on Monday June 13.
A 48-year-old man was rushed to Forth Valley Royal Hospital by paramedics to be treated for serious injuries.
Now, officers have confirmed a 49-year-old man has been charged in relation to the attack.
A 31-year-old man has also been arrested in connection with the incident.
The 49-year-old man is due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday, June 20.
