A man has been arrested and charged following an alleged attempted murder in Renfrewshire.
Glasgow Live reported that a 24-year-old man was found with serious injuries in Stock Street, Paisley on Saturday. Officers were called at around 9pm.
The man was rushed to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. His current medical condition was not disclosed by police.

Local police launched an investigation into the alleged incident which they are treating as attempted murder.
On Tuesday officers revealed that a 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection. He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
A force spokesperson said: "Police have arrested and charged a 28-year-old man in connection with an attempted murder in Paisley. A 24-year-old man was found with serious injuries in Stock Street, Paisley around 9pm on Saturday, July 30.
"He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow by ambulance for treatment. The man is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday, August 3."
