Man charged after girl struck by motorbike in Edinburgh crash

Police Scotland have confirmed that a man has been charged after a motorcycle collided with a 13-year-old girl in Edinburgh.

The incident happened took place on Queen Street, at the junction with Frederick Street at around 10.30 am on Sunday, 5 June.

Officers say the 33-year-old biker has been referred to the Procurator Fiscal and is expected to appear in court at a later date.

The girl was taken to hospital for treatment following the serious collision.

Her condition is not currently known.

Anyone with further information on the incident should call police on 101, quoting incident 1334 of 5 June 2022.
