Police investigating the attempted robbery of a pensioner in Falkirk have arrested and charged a man.
The 74-year-old reported to have been targeted around 7:55pm while in his home on Carmuirs Avenue in the Camelon area on Thursday January 13.
He wasn't injured, but was said to have been left badly shaken.
Officers have now confirmed that a 40-year-old man is being held in connection with the incident.
He's due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court tomorrow, Wednesday February 23.
