A man has been charged after allegedly stabbing another in Irvine.
The man was found seriously injured at a property on Clark Drive at around 2am on Saturday April 9.
He was then rushed to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock in a serious condition.
A 26-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday, April 13.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report a man had been found seriously injured at a property on Clark Drive, Irvine, around 2am on Saturday, 9 April.
"The man was taken to University Hospital Crosshouse in a serious condition
"A 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"He is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 13 April, 2022."
