Man captured repeatedly striking puppy in residential street as RSPCA probe launched

Horrifying footage shows a man repeatedly striking a puppy while out on a walk.

A doorbell camera caught the incident on Friday, July 7, and shows the Bulldog-type breed being attacked by the thug.

The footage shows the dog stopping and the man is heard saying "no come on, come here." He pulls the dog towards him and then hits it multiple times, reports Stoke On Trent.

A few seconds later, the man picks up the puppy and walks away in the other direction with the dog in his hands.

The dog can be heard barking with the man saying "He can f*** off.”

The RSPCA has confirmed it has received a report about the footage and is investigating the matter.

A spokesperson said: "We are aware of this and are looking into it. As such, we are unable to comment further at this time.

"We are grateful to people who report suspected animal suffering to us and we would like to reassure people we will always look into and, if necessary, investigate any complaints made to us about animal welfare."

The man alleged to be in the video has been approached for comment.
