An evil and vicious boyfriend has been convicted of first-degree murder for beheading his girlfriend in front of a group of horrified onlookers in traffic.
43-year-old Alexis Saborit was found guilty on Thursday of the brutal broad daylight killing of America Thayer, 56, that horrified bystanders in July 2021.
The judge in the case found the "nature of the assault" proved Saborit intended to kill his partner, and that his possession of a machete, threats before the murder, and their "tumultuous" relationship with "frequent arguments and accusations of abuse" showed premeditation.
