A man was attacked with a metal bar after shots were fired at his house on a crime-ridden estate.
Khaled Baleid, 59, was left with two black eyes and a broken nose after the attack outside his home on Primrose Court in Huyton on Monday, May 30. Shocking CCTV footage shows the moment he was punched in the back of the head as he stood on his own driveway, before he was beaten with a metal bar.
Khaled said the attacker shouted racist abuse at him as he repeatedly hit him over the head with the weapon. It came after he reported to police that shots were fired at his house the previous day, May 29, by someone with an air rifle.
