Man beaten and has hair ripped out in brutal Tube station attack

Police want to speak to these people following a vicious assault at King’s Cross Underground station - (British Transport Police)

Police are investigating a serious assault on the Tube in which a man had hair ripped from his head.

British Transport Police have released images following the vicious assault at King’s Cross Underground station last month.

The incident occurred at around 6.30am on Sunday January 11, when a man and a woman walked onto the Victoria Line platform of the station and were insulted by someone.

The man was then attacked by a group of people who punched and kicked him, sustaining multiple cuts to his face and having hair ripped from his head.

The woman was also punched as she attempted to intervene and protect the man.

Officers have released images of people they would like to speak to, as they believe they may have information that could help their investigation.

Anyone who recognises them has been urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 102 of 11 January.

You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
