A man found dead at his home in Mossley - sparking a murder investigation - has been named as Thomas Campbell.
The murder probe was launched after police were called to an address in Riverside at around 10.30am on Sunday morning (July 3). Emergency services tragically found the body of Mr Campbell at the scene.
Detectives believe the 38-year-old, who was a dad, was killed in 'targeted attack'. His devastated family are now 'wanting answers'.

In an update issued this morning (July 6), police said the investigation is continuing to progress. They are continuing to appeal for anyone with information - 'no matter how small - to come forward.
Detective Inspector Mark Davis, from GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: "This was a horrific attack on a man in his home and our thoughts are very much with the family who are understandably distressed and wanting answers. A team of detectives have been working around the clock to find those responsible in what we believe at this time to have been a targeted attack.
"A number of lines of enquiry are still being carried out but I would ask anyone with information to come forward – no matter how small it may seem.
