A man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery at a convenience shop in Wigan last night.
Officers were made aware of an incident where cash was stolen from the Go Local store on Warrington Road, in Ince, at 9.30pm on Thursday evening (March 30).
They have arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of the robbery.

The man has also been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
He remains in police custody for questioning.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police Wigan West said: “Officers in Wigan have arrested a 30-year-old-man on suspicion of robbery after cash was stolen from the Go Local store on Warrington Road, Ince, Wigan, at 9.30pm on 30 March 2023.
“He has also been arrested on suspicion of burglary and is in custody for questioning.”
Earlier this week, GMP announced it has made 'further progress' in improving their response time to incidents.
Sharing statistics from February 2023, the force said they are now the first placed force in England and Wales for the percentage of calls answered in less than 10 seconds, despite having the fourth highest call volume.
