A man has been arrested on suspicion of alleged attempted murder after he and a toddler were hit by a train in Glasgow.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at Garrowhill Train Station in the east end at around 7.30pm on Sunday (July 2) after reports of two people on the tracks.
The two-year-old boy and 26-year-old man both sustained injuries. The toddler's injuries are now thought to be minor while the man is in a non-life-threatening condition.

The man was arrested by British Transport Police last night and remains in hospital under police observation.
Detective Chief Inspector Marc Francey said: “This was a shocking but isolated incident and we are not looking for anyone else in connection.
“Specially trained officers are supporting the young boy’s family and it is thankfully now believed he will make a full recovery.
“Our investigation continues to establish the full circumstances of the incident and we are making a number of enquiries.
