A man was arrested on suspicion of arson after a fire at a guest house in Southville.
Firefighters were called to a three-storey property on Coronation Road at 4.43pm on Saturday (May 14). They arrived on the scene in four minutes and found a fire on the third floor, spreading into the roof.
In a statement this morning (Monday), Avon Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire has been determined to be "deliberate ignition". And Avon and Somerset Police has now confirmed that an arrest was made.
