Man arrested in Falkirk 'disturbance' as three police cars race to street

A man has been arrested after a "disturbance" on a busy street in Falkirk.

Emergency services rushed to the scene next to the Scottish Ambulance Service base on Grangemouth Road shortly after 3:30pm yesterday afternoon.

Three police vehicles were spotted at the address with officers standing on the street.

Officers have since confirmed that a 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.

He was also taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital to be assessed.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.35pm on Wednesday, 23 March, police were called to the Grangemouth Road area of Falkirk following a report of a minor disturbance at a property.

"A 26-year-old man was arrested and taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital for assessment.

"Enquiries continue."
