A man has been charged with the 2017 murder of a 23-year-old in Southgate, north London.
Seun McMillan, 23, known as Shey, was fatally stabbed in Cowper Gardens on May 2, 2017. He died later that day of his stab wounds.
Jarrad O’Field, 24, of no fixed abode was charged with murder on Tuesday after arriving on a flight from Canada at Heathrow Airport.
Police said O’Field was also charged with conspiracy to supply class A and B drugs in relation to a separate matter.
He is due to appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.
Mr McMillan was described by his mother, Chantelle Bucknor, as “jovial, handsome, the life and soul of the party”.
Speaking in 2018, one year on after her son’s death, she said: “Everyone loved Seun. He would come in and be very polite and very manageable.”
