A man was arrested yesterday evening at Dublin Airport after his extradition from the United Kingdom.
The 31-year-old was held overnight in a Dublin garda station. He is charged in connection with the robbery at the Lordship Credit Union, Louth on 25 January 2013
The man is due to appear before the Criminal Court at 10.30am this morning.

Detective Adrian Donohoe was shot dead during the armed robbery at the credit union. He was on an armed cash escort.
A garda spokesman said: "A 31 year old male was arrested yesterday evening, 29 July 2022, at Dublin Airport following his extradition from the United Kingdom.
"The male was detained overnight at a Dublin Garda Station.
"He is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, Dublin at 10.30am, today 30 July 2022 charged in connection with the Robbery at the Lordship Credit Union, Co Louth on the 25 January 2013."
