Man arrested as gardai seize €52,000 worth of cannabis plants in Co Cavan home after major search operation

Garda Co Cavan Monaghan District Court Gardai

A man has been arrested after gardai seized around €52,000 worth of cannabis plants and €2,200 cash in Co Cavan on Tuesday.

Gardai from the Cavan Monaghan Divisional Drugs Unit, assisted by local Garda units, conducted a search under warrant of a house in Bailieboro.

During the search, Gardaí found that an upstairs room in the house had been converted to cultivate cannabis plants.
