A man has been arrested after police cordoned off a quiet Edinburgh street yesterday for almost 12 hours.
Officers were alerted to the incident on Barn Park Crescent in Wester Hailes just after 9am, with a police presence seen on the street throughout much of the day and into the evening.
Tape sealed off part of the street, with a number of vehicles and officers in attendance as the events unfolded, reports Edinburgh Live.
