Man arrested after brandishing replica firearm on bus

A 30-year-old man was arrested by police after he allegedly brandished a replica firearm inside a bus in Belconnen on Saturday.

Police officers boarded the bus in Griffith and located a man who allegedly had a replica firearm visible in his pocket. Picture by Keegan Carroll

He faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday after being charged with three counts of possessing a prohibited firearm, and one count of acting to cause public alarm.
