Two people were taken to hospital after a 'disturbance' at a Travelodge hotel.
Police were called to the Travelodge on Marine Point in New Brighton last night at around 11.55pm following reports of an assault.
Emergency service s attended the scene where they found a man and woman injured and a third man suspected to be responsible.

Both victims, a 32-year-old woman and 45-year-old man, were taken to hospital for their injuries.
The man required treatment to his face and both victims have since been discharged from the hospital
A 33-year-old man from New Brighton, Wirral, was arrested on suspicion of assault and criminal damage and remains in custody.
Witnesses at the scene reported seeing two police cars and an ambulance present.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed CCTV and witness enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
