A man and a dog were stabbed during a brawl in east London, leading to two arrests.
Another man was also injured following an incident involving two dogs in Victoria Park on Sunday morning.
Police were called to Roman Road shortly after 10.30am on Sunday and found a man in his 50s with stab wounds. His injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.
A dog was also found with stab wounds and has been taken to a vet.
The Met Police added that a second man was identified and found to have suffered a dog bite.
Both men were arrested.
The Met Police said in a statement: "Police were called to Roman Road, E3, shortly after 10.30hrs on Sunday, 6 October to reports of a stabbing.
"Officers attended along with paramedics from London Ambulance Service. A man in his 50s was found with stab wounds.
“He was treated at the scene by paramedics. His injuries have been assessed as non-life-threatening.
"A dog was also found with stab wounds and has been taken to a vet.
"A second man has been identified and found to have suffered a dog bite.
"Both men have been arrested after what is believed to have been an incident involving two dogs in Victoria Park.
"A crime scene has been put in place. Enquiries continue."
It comes after two young children and a 30-year-old woman were rushed to hospital after being mauled by dogs in south-east London.
Four dogs attacked the children, aged four and six, as well as the woman before 9am on Saturday on Mickleham Road in St Paul's Cray, north of Orpington.
A woman was arrested on suspicion of having dogs dangerously out of control and she has been taken to custody.
