A man allegedly stabbed a woman to death then rang emergency services to alert them.
Sources told the Irish Mirror Anna Mooney was the victim of a “savage” attack before she was killed at her Raheny home in north Dublin before 1am yesterday. A man in his 50s was arrested at the property on the Kilbarrack Road and taken for questioning on suspicion of murder.
We understand the suspect is believed to have raised the alarm before the ambulance service alerted gardai. Two children, a young boy and a teenage girl, were in the house at the time.
