A man has left people flabbergasted after admitting his controversial dining habit.
An engineer - who wishes to remain anonymous - left people horrified after revealing that he uses the microwave glass plate to eat his tinned baked beans.
After sharing a snap of his 'sad' looking plate, people flocked to the comment section to discuss the controversial dinner - with one person even admitting that it 'makes [them] anxious'.
In the viral post, the Facebook user wrote: "Potentially the SADDEST lunch you will ever see.
"I'm a mobile engineer with a microwave in my van but forgot something to eat off so have had to use the microwave plate.
I'm so sorry."
Since sharing the post online, the man's snap has gone viral and users can't believe their eyes.
The photo shows the man's dinner, which consists of a lonely-looking jacket potato surrounded by baked beans.
To top it all off, it's served on the glass microwave plate that you would most commonly use to place your dinnerware on.
To finish off the presentation, the engineer has used some loo roll as a place mat which appears to already have seen some bean spillage.
The popular post has racked up 1,700 likes to date and hundreds of comments.
Taking to the comment section, one person wrote: "Not a very good engineer then? Could've put the beans in the potato to avoid excess flooding."
Meanwhile, someone else joked: "Hope you get parole soon."
On the other hand, another Facebook user wrote: "Should have cooked the beans in the tin, you could have eaten them without getting the plate messy then what could go wrong lol."
A fourth person commented: Should have just kept the beans in the tin when you microwaved them, would have made less mess..."
A fifth simply said: "The food is sadder than the plate."
A different user joined in: "Beans go in the potato, not the potato in the beans!"
Someone else asked: "Is that the glass plate that holds plates in the microwave?"
Another admitted: "The beans that close to the edge is making me incredibly anxious."
