Man accused of random sexual assault on girl, 14, wants bail after trial delayed

IT was 2.40am on a night in August last year when a 38-year-old man with a "lengthy and concerning criminal history" spoke to a "distressed and vulnerable" 14-year-old girl at the Hamilton railway station.

Prosecutors say what happened next, during a short walk to buy food from a service station on Maitland Road, was a random sexual assault after Fadllaseed Tombe allegedly forced the girl to perform oral sex on him.
