A man will stand trial after denying multiple child sex offences at Leeds Crown Court.
David Crowley, 68, appeared at the court on Friday, October 21, from a video link at Full Sutton prison for his Plea and Trial Preparation hearing. He is charged with 13 offences in total that took place several years ago against three victims.
Crowley is charged with eight counts of assault on a male person and five counts of indecency with a child. The alleged offences took place from 1982 to 1993.

Several of the charges related to children who were under 13 at the time. Crowley pleaded not guilty to all charges. Gerald Hendron was prosecuting and Mr Smith appeared for the defence. Judge Belcher presided over the hearing.
The case was adjourned until March 27, 2023, and is estimated to last around seven days. It will take place at Leeds Crown Court. The case will continue at trial.
