A 67-year-old man strangled a 12-year-old boy after his partner complained that a group of kids was making a mess in a McDonald's restaurant, a court heard.
Robert Wynne, 67, assaulted the boy at the fast food chain's Rice Lane restaurant in Liverpool earlier this year.
The victim, who cannot be named because of his age, was left with bruising to his neck after the assault, the Liverpool Echo reports.
