A man has been found dead within the grounds of Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
Police were alerted to the hospital on Castle Street around 2:15am this morning (January 20).
Officers have since confirmed that the deceased was a 61-year-old man.
They are treating the death as unexplained but not suspicious.

A report will be will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Around 2.15am on Thursday, 20 January, 2022, a 61-year-old man was found dead within the grounds of Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Castle Street, Glasgow.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
