A man has died in East Lothian after he tragically 'got into difficulty' at a local beauty spot.
Police in the area have confirmed that a 51-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after they were alerted to an incident at Tyninghame beach.
Located near East Linton, emergency services had raced to the area on Sunday afternoon (September 18) after calls were made to the police and coastguard.

Following a large emergency response, the man passed away at the scene, with his death said to have no suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 51-year-old man has died after getting into difficulty in the water at a beach in Tyninghame, East Linton on Sunday, 18 September.

"Police and emergency services, supported by the RNLI and local coastguard, attended, however, the man died at the scene.
"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
