Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene of a workplace incident in Co Cavan on Thursday where a man in his 50s was pronounced dead.
Investigations are now underway into the exact cause of his death, which occurred yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí confirmed that they attended the scene at a business premises on the Kells Road, Bailieborough on November 3.

The victim of the incident was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Cavan Mortuary.
A garda spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: “Gardaí attended the scene of a fatal workplace accident at a business premises on the Kells Road, Bailieboro, Co. Cavan, yesterday afternoon, Thursday, 3rd November 2022.
“A man aged in his 50s was pronounced deceased and his body was removed to Cavan Mortuary. The HSA attended the scene.”
Officers from the Health and Safety Authority say they are also investigating.
A spokesperson for the HSA said: "The HSA are aware of this incident and have launched an investigation, as such no further information is available at this time."
