Man, 40s, seriously injured in alleged assault in Waterford

Waterford Garda University Hospital Waterford

A man in his 40s was seriously injured in an alleged assault in Waterford city on Friday night.

The alleged incident occurred at around 9.10pm on Merchant’s Quay between two men.

Emergency services and gardai rushed to the scene and the man, who suffered head injuries, was taken to University Hospital Waterford.
