A man has been arrested after a victim was left hospitalised following a stabbing in Wembley.
Police were called to Forty Lane at 5.29pm on Thursday, March 24 following reports that a man had been attacked.
Officers found a man, aged in his 20s, with stab injuries. He was taken to a hospital where his condition was assessed as not life threatening.
A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Detectives have urged witnesses to come forward with information following the attack.
Detective Dawid Ratajczak, who is leading the investigation, said: “Firstly I want to thank all the people who have come forward so far to speak to us about this shocking incident.
“Despite today’s arrest I am still keen to hear from anyone who has information or footage.
“The victim’s injuries are not life threatening, however they were serious and he remains in hospital receiving treatment.
“We are aware that this violent incident will send shockwaves through the local community and residents can expect to see a continued increased police presence in area while we continue with our enquiries.”
